Following the fantastic achievements of the national side, we felt it was only right to go all out on designing a tee for the Euros and when we say "all out" we mean "Rambo all out". We aim to beat the arch enemy on and off the pitch (best dressed) in a long awaited major finals.
HOW WE GOT TO THE FINAL DESIGN:
We hired the services of Patrick Goddard for the Illustration and gave him "the brief". Paddy is a comic artist from South Wales who has a clean art style and has graced many strips in 2000AD. He has drawn Judge Dredd, Sinister Dexter, Aquila, Grey Area, Chopper and many more. His work is most known for Savage, taking over from Charlie Adlard, working with Pat Mills for the last seven books. He works from his studio at home in Penarth near Cardiff...when his kids allow! 'Paddy' has also carried out work for Marvel comics in the US and designs for the BBC show Dr Who.
Upon completion of the illustration, Paddy's work was passed to Yasmin O'Dowd an illustrator/graphic designer based in Cardiff who skilfully applied the colour.
The tees were printed using a CMYK photographic screen print process at a Cardiff based printer.
